Account and Health Data Consent

Reputable Health is a research community run by Reputable Labs Inc. We collect health information so you can screen for and join research studies and see your own data. Please read the summary below and our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to join.

What we collect and why

• Health information you give us (conditions, medications, supplements, symptoms, lifestyle, height and weight) to check your eligibility for Studies and match you to Studies you may like.
• Wearable and app data if you connect a device, to show you your data and to use it in Studies you join.
• How you use the app, including session recordings of app screens (with everything you type and all text on screen masked), so we can fix problems. These start only after you consent in the app.
• Contact details and where you live to run your account, apply the privacy rules for your location, and send you service and Study messages.

We do not sell your health information, except photos you may later choose to release under a separate signed release for a specific Study. We do not use your health information for advertising. We do not share your screening answers with a Study Sponsor before you sign that Study's Consent Form. Studies you join will ask for your consent again, with full details, in a separate Consent Form.

Who can join

Reputable currently accepts participants who live in the United States or in Canada outside Quebec. If you live elsewhere, you can leave your email to be told when we open in your area.

Your choices in the app

When you sign up in the app, you'll be asked for these consents separately:

• Terms (required). You confirm you're 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) and agree to the Terms of Service, including the arbitration agreement in Section 19 if you live in the United States (which you may opt out of within 30 days).
• Collection of your health information (required). This covers the health information described above, used to operate your account, check your eligibility for Studies and show you your data. You can withdraw this consent at any time in Settings > Privacy. Because we can't screen you for Studies without this information, withdrawing it pauses your account, and you can ask for your health information to be deleted.
• Study matching and invitations (optional). We may use your profile and health information to invite you to future Studies you may be eligible for, by email and in the app. Not available to Maryland residents.
• Account and Study text messages (optional). Account and Study reminder texts at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of joining. See the Messaging (SMS) Terms.
• Marketing texts (optional). Marketing texts from Reputable Labs Inc. (Reputable Health), including invitations to new Studies and community news, which may be sent using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of joining or of any purchase. Message frequency varies (up to 3 per day). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel.
• Newsletter (optional). Our newsletter and research community updates by email. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Study invitations, marketing texts and the newsletter are sent by Reputable Labs Inc. (Reputable Health), 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808, USA, legal@reputable.health. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every message, by replying STOP to a text, or in Settings > Privacy.

Connecting a wearable or health app

Each time you connect a device or health app, we ask your permission for the specific data categories (for example sleep, heart rate, HRV, activity or temperature) and the time period. You can disconnect at any time in the app's Settings or in the device's own app. We use this data as described in our Privacy Policy and in the Consent Form for any Study you join.

Identity verification

We use Persona, our identity-verification provider, to verify your identity and prevent duplicate accounts. With your consent, Persona collects your selfie and government-issued ID and creates facial geometry from them, solely for this purpose. Persona holds this information for Reputable. It is permanently destroyed when you delete your Reputable account, or three years after your last interaction with Reputable, whichever comes first, as described in our Biometric Data Retention and Destruction Policy.
