Cookie and Tracking Technologies Policy
Reputable Labs Inc. (doing business as Reputable Health) | Effective date: January 1, 2026 | Last updated: Oct 22, 2026
1. What this covers
This policy explains how Reputable Labs Inc. ("Reputable", "we") uses cookies, pixels, software development kits (SDKs), local storage and similar technologies ("cookies") on our websites (reputable.health, its subdomains and the other sites listed on our Service Providers and Domains page), participant app and dashboard. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. Our approach
- Participant app and web app: strictly necessary technologies and push notifications. App performance monitoring and session replay (with all typed and displayed text masked) start only after you give the health data consent at sign-up, and are used only on our behalf. Aggregate app install measurement runs on our behalf and sends no individual events to advertising platforms. No advertising pixels or advertising SDKs.
- Health-related pages: any page that names a health condition, a Study, a product category under study, or a screening question (including Study pages and subdomains, "Join a Study", referral and screening pages, Study results pages and health-topic blog posts) uses strictly necessary technologies, and web analytics only after you accept them in our cookie banner (with the provider's advertising and data-sharing features turned off for all our sites and IP addresses truncated). No advertising pixels and no visitor identification.
- General pages of our main website (the home page and pages for business customers): strictly necessary cookies always; analytics, visitor identification, functional and advertising technologies only with your consent where the law requires consent, and subject to your opt-out rights elsewhere.
- We do not upload community members' email addresses or phone numbers (hashed or otherwise) to advertising platforms, and we do not send Study-related events to advertising platforms from our servers.
3. Categories
| Category | Purpose | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, login, load balancing, remembering your cookie choices, fraud prevention | No |
| Functional | Remembering preferences, embedded content (for example video players), chat support | Yes, in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and Quebec; opt-out elsewhere |
| Analytics | Understanding how visitors use our sites so we can improve them | Yes, on health-related pages everywhere, and on all pages in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and Quebec (tools such as Google Analytics that use data for the provider's own purposes do not fall within the UK statutory exemption); opt-out on general pages elsewhere |
| Visitor identification | Recognising business visitors for follow-up | Yes, everywhere, through the cookie banner |
| Advertising | Measuring our advertising and showing relevant ads about Reputable on other sites | Yes, in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and Quebec; opt-out in the US (a "sale" or "sharing" under some state laws) |
4. Technologies we use
| Name / vendor | Category | Purpose | Where it runs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cookiebot | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choices | All websites |
| Google Analytics | Analytics | Website usage statistics, with Google signals, ads personalization, advertising links and Google data sharing turned off for all our sites | reputable.health and study pages |
| Visibility Kit | Analytics | Measures visits that come from AI assistants and search tools | reputable.health |
| Instantly (website visitor identification) | Advertising | Identifies the company and, in some cases, the business email or professional profile of business visitors, for business development follow-up | Only business pages that do not name a health condition, Study or product category under study (for example Why Reputable, Capabilities, Pilot Study, Clinical Research and Contact), and the home page only if it names none |
| Calendly | Functional | Booking calls with our team | Business pages |
| Datadog | Analytics | App performance monitoring and session replay, with all typed and displayed text masked; starts after sign-up consent | Participant app and web app |
| AppsFlyer | Analytics | Aggregate measurement of which campaigns lead to app installs, on our behalf; no individual events sent to advertising platforms | Participant app |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging | Strictly necessary | Push notifications | Participant app |
Cookie durations are shown in the Cookie Settings panel. Our Service Providers and Domains page lists the companies we use.
5. Your choices
- Cookie settings: use the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page to accept, reject or change your choices at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising cookies and the sale or sharing of website data for that browser and, if you are logged in, for your account. The site shows whether your opt-out has been applied.
- "Your Privacy Choices": US visitors can also opt out through this link in the footer.
- Browser and device controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Mobile devices let you reset advertising identifiers or limit ad tracking.
- Do Not Track: there is no common standard for responding to Do Not Track signals; we rely on GPC instead.
6. Changes and contact
We update this policy when our technologies change. Questions: legal@reputable.health.
